...about mr. Hestons main legacy. The NRA. Because I grew up not understand why guns were easier for me to score than some weed and some acid in the suburbs. And the entire reality regarding people...real people... you and I... who live constantly under the fear of being shot moreso than being stabbed.. raped... or torn limb to limb by an exotic animal at the zoo. He was a bigot at that... but i believe that his role as Moses is locked into most of "non thinking" America (red states). They view him as something holy because... yeah... he's in an iconic film as a biblical character. This film is played every holiday season. The man...wasn't fucking holy... he was bigot. Made some really fucked up racial statement on the "inner city"...and he treated Columbine (which figures into my "era" as being in high school when it happened.. i remember my school being on lock down all day and we watched coverage all day). He treated it poorly as being head of the NRA... the authority on gun...and constant lobbyist for ripping apart all SMART gun laws introduced post 90's.

Mon, April 7, 2008 - 7:47 AMI was in Boston all weekend for a work convention and when I was in the ho-tell room getting ready or whatever I would put on CNN in the background and ALL FUCKING WEEKEND THEY HAD "OHMYGODCHARLTONHESTONDIED!!!" Who cares? I mean, mention it once every few hours and put it on the ticker, but he's no Anna Nicole. And it was CNN for torispelling's sake, not Fox....
